Stevia from Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Why you must avoid it?

In past two months I have saved the hard earnings of over 50 farmers planning to grow Stevia in hundreds of acres. They were purchasing it from a so-called reputed firm of Chhattisgarh. I found the rates very- very high. They claimed about Stevia varieties developed by them. Its just fake claim as there varieties are not evaluated or even known by reputed research organisations like Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur.  The quality of plant material is very poor. The buy back scheme is full of ifs and buts. Not single Technical Hand is available with the firm. From Agronomy to Post Harvest Management they know nothing about it. There are many loop holes. At last but not the least, this firm was involved in infamous Safed Musli scam of India and banks are still taking action for recovery.
